GAZIN ROCQUENCOURT
origins can be traced back to the Middle Ages. 17th century texts suggest that the first vines were planted in 1660, when it was known simply as Château Gazin. It is also recognized as one of the oldest estates in the commune.
The wines have gained critical acclaim since the Bonnie family took over in 2006; the estate has been increasing in quality each year thanks to the team at Malartic-Lagraviire, Classified growth of Graves.
An exceptional terroir, sustainable farming and High Environmental Value certifications, manual care, some organic and biodynamic plots, and gravity-operated winery: high standards at every level.
The wines have a superb capacity to age; the 2005 (the first Bonnie vintage) was reviewed again by Parker in June 2015 and awarded 93/100!

The estate was then bought in 1850 by Madame Arnaud Ricard, who added the name Malartic to that of Lagravière as a tribute to the former owners.
Having enjoyed an excellent reputation from the beginning of the nineteenth century, Château Malartic-Lagravière was one of only six properties in Bordeaux to enter the 1953 Graves classification for both its red and white wines.
