Dark and deep colour. Very intense, dense and rich nose of black fruits. Cassis and blackberries. Also hints of gingerbread. Freshness and complexity. Very nice power in the mouth from the attack, lots of fat and roundness. The tannic structure is enveloped, it's lace. Lots of volume, very nice length and aromatic return on the fruit. Very great Pomerol.

Le Clos de la Vieille Eglise is a property that came into the family around 1830. The vineyard is located on a plateau on the high terrace of the Isle valley, on soil made up of clay and gravel: the crescent gold from Pomerol. The vines, planted at a density of 6,700 vines per hectare, are harvested manually, then the grapes are also sorted by hand. The Clos de la Vieille Eglise is a powerful and very elegant wine, it is the very archetype of the great Pomerols. This 30% Cabernet Franc gives it freshness and remarkable aging.

A nice floral bouquet, with cedar and blackcurrant hints.The palate is greedy, silky with round tannins. A good length on the fruit.

L'Ambroisie is produced on a 2-Ha vineyard planted by my great grandfather 60 years ago. The wine grows on an exceptional hilly terroir with a highly complex gravelly soil. Consisting of 100% Merlot and produced with a very low yield per Ha, this wine is the perfect expression of the outstanding result that can be obtained with Merlot on the right bank: beautiful maturity, concentration and finesse.
This wine with a non-conspicuous labelling and referring to the favorite drink of the ancient Greek Gods is especially dedicated for highly refined connoisseur.

The color is deep, purplish red. The nose is rich, delicious, fresh, with creamy notes of ripe red fruits (strawberry, raspberry, etc.). Nice complexity, with a melted and fine woodiness. The mouth, nice velvet touch. Nice balance combining smoothness, richness and beautiful progressive length. The woodiness mingles with the aromatic complexity
with silky and delicate tannins.
