Sweet wine is one of the estate’s specialities. Because of the Danube region’s dry continental climate, large quantities of grapes infected with noble rot (Botrytis) is a rare occurrence indeed. But when there is Botrytis in sufficient quantities, we select the infected berries and bunches from the vineyards very carefully, and then separate the grapes in a second selection process for Auslese, Beerenauslese or Trockenbeerenauslese wines.

The nose of this soft golden Riesling from primary rock terraces in the Danube region wafts with delicate apricot and peach aromas. On the palate are minerally and fine fruity tones. This is a wine with typical Riesling finesse. His vibrant acidity and minerality can be terrific with rich dishes flavored with a squeeze of lime, like beef curry or a spicy sea food salad.

Vital and dignified, penetrating play of fruits and fine aroma of blossoms, pinch of pepper; impressively full-bodied, again spicy, some citrus and strong Veltliner peperiness, nervous structure, harmonious.

Medium deep golden colour : Intense and pure nose with crushed stone, flint, ripe apricot, pineapple and sweet citrus. Verry dense and freh palate packed with stone fruit, pepper, ginger and clove notes, fine extract and a very long powerful finish.

Decent bouquets from garden herbs, vanilla and thyme are coming up. Fresh raspberry fruit on the palette, lean structured and straight. Perfect Aperitif for the terrace in summertime. The fine fragrances and fruit nuances, Wild cherry and fresh berries, make this Rose an ideal universal food accompaniment.

This has cooked red beet-aromas as well as ripe plums with a discreet touch of smoky oak. Some real concentration on the well structured palate, where the interplay o fruit, acidity and solid tannins gives the wine a lot of appeal. Long, rather complex, warm finish. Drink or hold.

Delicate pear fruit, a touch of quince and white peach come through, elegant and lightly flowery; beautiful balance and some body as well as early harmony, restrained pineapple in the background, very earthy, lively acidity on the finish.
